In this workshop Mireille will let you get acquainted with a little part of the candomble. Along this journey she will take you back in the history of samba. In respect of the brazil culture you will play a humble ode to Orisha Oxossi. This 6/8 groove will be played on the regular samba bateria instruments. Among others Mireille would  especially like to welcome agogo players.

After years of traveling around the world, Mireille Linger (the Netherlands) was touched by the culture and rhythms of brazil. Still studying the music and its history, you can find her every year in salvador bahia for performances and to give classes. With her brazil percussion rhythms Mireille has a long list of performances with renowned artists on both national and international stages and masterclasses in south america, south africa and throughout europe.
